Along the Way - Week 1

Week 1 jof Along the Way is in the books!  We talked about how Job's faithfulness to God was tested.  We read in Job 1 - 2:10.  Our Big Idea was God is with me no matter what I go through! 

We just finished reading Hebrews 2:5-12! This passage tells us how much God cares for us, even though we’re small compared to how big God is. Isn’t that amazing? God loves us so much that Jesus came to be like us and died on the cross to take away our sins.

It says Jesus was made “lower than the angels for a little while” so He could help us. Because of this, God makes us special and calls us His brothers and sisters! This means we are part of God’s family, which is so comforting because it means God is always with us.

Whenever you feel sad or alone, remember that you’re part of God’s family. Just like Job, who knew God was always with him, we can have faith and remind ourselves that God is with us no matter what happens. We’re never alone! How does knowing this make you feel?
